ABOUT ME

Mary Anne Reilly is a Washington, D.C.–based artist known for her large-scale oil paintings inspired by a lifelong love of the sea, land, and cityscapes. Her artistic foundation was shaped through studies at the Corcoran Museum and School of Art in Washington, D.C., the Louvre and Schiller College in Paris, France, and by earning a BFA from the University of Dayton in Ohio. These experiences gave her both the instruction and the confidence to pursue a professional career as an artist.
Over time, Mary Anne has achieved notable success, with approximately 25 solo exhibitions and participation in more than 130 group shows both nationally and internationally. Her work has been exhibited in cities such as Paris, Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe, New York, London, Dublin, Annapolis, and Palm Beach. Her paintings are held in numerous public and private collections around the world.
“Reilly has an innate sense of what the neo-impressionists were trying to do, and she’s chosen to develop her incredible skill along this very personal path. Hers is a very inspired communication with nature. Spring, all too fleeting, but with a painting of Mary Anne’s, it gets to stay a bit longer.”
